Trogir has 2300 years of continuous urban tradition. The name comes from the Greek “tragos” (male goat). Its culture was created under the influence of the ancient Greeks, and then the Romans, French and Venetians. Trogir has a high concentration of palaces, churches and towers, as well as a fortress on a small island, and in 1997 was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Crljenak is old dalmatian vine wich is very near it’s desapearing. This almost extincted sort of vine is „father“ of italian most famous vine primitivo, american vine zinfandel and plavac mali. If you are fan of zinfandel you will definitely prefer Crljenak because they have geneticly identical code.
The grapes typically produce a robust red vine. The grape’s high sugar content can be fermented into levels of alcohol exceeding 15 percent.
The taste of the red wine depends on the ripeness of the grapes from which it is made.when you try Crljenak you will taste Red berry fruit flavors like raspberry predominate in wines from cooler areas, whereas blackberry, anise and pepper notes are more common in wines made in warmer areas.
You will fall in love with this strong red but dry wine.
To complement this famous sort of vine you will taste most famous cheese in Croatia – Paški sir
World famous cheese that won the most awards is made in oldest cheese factory on the island Pag. Pag cheese factory recieved numerous awards, domestic and international. Factory won several gold medals for supreme – quality cheeses and the most important award is World cheese award in Birmingham 2011.
Paški cheese it’s the most appreciated Croatian cheese made from milk of sheep from island Pag. This taste can’t be recreated artificially because of vegetation, aromic herbs and salty foam which seteleds on vegetation and it’s eaten by sheeps that produce special taste of milk .
There is two kinds of of Paški cheese –young and aged. Young cheese is ripening up to a period of one year and aged one is ripening for longer than a year. Young cheese is recognized by its mild, salty taste and has light color, aged Paški cheese is know by its piquant, hard taste and brownish color.
