Dubrovnik – ANTIENT CITY PRESERVET TO DETAILS

Excursion to Dubrovnik from Trogir and Split

Excursions to Dubrovnik starts after picking you up at the pre-arranged meeting point, we’ll begin our full day experience. This full day tour of Dubrovnik offers a comprehensive and immersive experience of the city. The tour includes a scenic drive along the coast with stops at several overlooks for panoramic views of the Dalmatian islands, as well as a stop in Ston for the opportunity to try the local oysters (optional).

Our next stop is Franciscan Monastery, whose cloister is one of the most magnificent sites in the city. There you will be able to see the oldest pharmacy in Europe, opened in 1317. A little further is Sponza Palace, notable for its portico with columns and elaborate stone carvings which today houses the State Archives. Our tour will end with a visit to the Cathedral which was built on the ruins of a 12thC church. After the guided tour, you’ll have time to explore the Old Town on your own and discover its hidden corners.

The tour also includes the option to walk along the walls that surround the Old Town for a unique perspective. Overall, it seems like a great way to learn about the history and culture of Dubrovnik and see some of its most iconic sights.
