Zadar Sunset Tour is a unique and immersive experience that combines the city’s rich history and culture with its stunning natural beauty. The tour includes a walk through the old town, where you can see Roman ruins, medieval churches, and sophisticated cafes, as well as a visit to the Church of St. Donatus and the Saint Anastasia Cathedral. You’ll also have the opportunity to try some local Dalmatian specialties for dinner before sitting on the coast to watch the sunset and listen to the music produced by the Sea Organs.

Zadar sunset tour offers you on a walk through 3000 years of history, from the period of Roman Empire to the present time. We will walk from the Land Gate of Zadar, through the Kalelarga, the main street of the city since Roman times. Here, you will see the symbol of the city – the Church of St. Donatus and the biggest cathedral in Dalmatia – Saint Stosija’s Cathedral.

The highlight of the tour is the famous Sea Organ and Sun Salutation, a sound and light spectacle that is sure to be a memorable experience. Overall, it seems like a great way to spend an evening in Zadar and enjoy all that the city has to offer.

Land Gate of Zadar - built to a design by the Venetian architect Michele Sanmicheli in 1543.

Square of Five Wells - During the 16th century, the Venetians helped the city withstand Turkish sieges by building a large water cistern with five ornamental wellheads

Park of Queen Jelena - the city´s oldest park founded in 1892 on top of a military object is a beautiful example of park architecture

Church of St. Donatus - a monumental round building from the 9th century in pre-Romanesque style

  • 16:00 - Departure from Trogir
  • 18:00 -19:00 - Sightseeing of Zadar with guide
  • 19:00 -20:00 - Free time
  • 20:00 -21:00 - Dinner (optional)
  • 21:00 -21:45 - Experience the famous Sea Organ and Sun Salutation
  • 22:00 - Departure from Zadar
  • 23:30 - Return to Trogir
  • 00:00 - Return to Split

Tour Length: 8,5 Hours

Useful tips

Beside a camera here are few items you may need to make your time on the excursion the better are comfortable walking shoes. After summer time we recommend to bring also a warm sweater and to wear closed comfortable shoes.
